1. Registration

You don't need an account to read papers, columns, wiki, and news. But if you would like to comment on papers and columns, and have a discussion with other scholars and professionals, you have to register yourself first. Your account application should be approved in a day or two. This process tries to minimize a variety of "attacks", aiming at warranting pure and scholarly communications in the community.

The registration (http://www.sersci.com/ServiceScience/register.php) process is very simple and straightforward. When you select areas of interest, please hold Ctrl-button to make multiple choices simultaneously. Of course, you can log on and update your profile at any time after your account gets approved.

2. Forget about your password

If you forget about your password (http://www.sersci.com/ServiceScience/forget_password.php), you can retrieve a computer-generated password at any time. But you have to provide the email you used when you registered yourself. The newly generated password won't take effect until you click the link sent to your email account. Then you have to log on using the computer-generated password. After you log on, please change your password right away.

3. Manuscript submission

Please read the author instruction (http://www.sersci.com/ServiceScience/author.php) carefully and have your manuscript prepared. You have to have an account before you can submit your manuscript. When you upload your manuscripts through your account, you can upload up to five (5) files in either MS Word or Adobe PDF format. After you complete your submission, you can remove your submission if you uploaded wrong files. Then simply restart the uploading process. However, if the manuscript is under review, no change is allowed until you are asked for certain revisions.

4. Read online

You don't need an account to read published papers, editorials, and Wiki discussions. Please move your mouse on papers and editorials' titles, you should be able to browse and download them if you like.

5. Wiki

You have to have an account and log on (http://www.sersci.com/ServiceScience/login.php) before you can comment on published papers, editorials, or others' comments.

6. Update your email account

After you log in, you can replace your email with a new one. Then you have to use your new email as your login email from now on.
